How do you reset maintenance light, reset service light indicator GMC Envoy. For reset maintenance light and that can be made manually by use button on car dash board.

Reset service light indicator, engine oil life GMC Envoy, oil reset instructions:

year 2004-2009

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
3. If the Change Oil Soon light flashes the system is resetting.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service Reset:

1)Push-hold Trip Button (TB)
2)Turn key to position 1
3)Continue to hold (TB), the number 15A will show to the teft of the milage
4)Release (TB) for 3 sec and then hold (TB) again
5)In about 5-8 sec RST will show in the left corner
6)Release and then hold again 15000 will show, press and release
7)Car is now reset to the 15,000 service – (has completed 10,000 mile service) and will count down from 15,000.
