How do you reset maintenance light, reset service light indicator Smart Fortwo, year 2014, 2015. For reset maintenance light and that can be made manually by use button on car dash board.

Reset service light indicator, engine oil life Smart Fortwo, year 2014, 2015 oil reset instructions:

  1. Turn the ignition to run.
    *one position before starting engine.
  2. Within 4 seconds push TRIP button twice to display service indicator. Switch off ignition within 10 seconds.
  3. Push and hold TRIP button. Turn ignition on (do not start engine). Wait until the service indicator flashes and then shows “0”.
  4. Release TRIP button.
  5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

  3. Push and hold TRIP button. Turn ignition off.
  4. Continue to hold TRIP button. Turn igntion on (do not start engine). The display shows the remaining distance for the next maintenance interval
  5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
