Reset service light indicator, engine oil life Honda Insight, year 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 reset instructions:

2000-2005
Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the TRIP button in the instrument panel and turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting).
Hold the button for at least 10 seconds, until the “MAINT REQD” indicator goes out.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2006
Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button in the instrument panel and turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting).
Hold the button for at least 10 seconds, until the indicator resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
If the engine oil life is not displayed, press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is.
Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for more than 10 seconds. The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi information display.
Select RESET by pressing the INFO (▲/▼) button, then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

*Models equipped with the keyless access system have an engine start/stop button instead of an switch. ON Mode is equivalent of ignition (II).

1997-1999
Insert ignition key into centre slot located on the front of the instrument cluster. When reset, the indicator changes to green.
2000-2001
Reset the coloured indicator by inserting your key in the slot beside the indicator.
2002-2006
Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button in the instrument panel and turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting).
Hold the button for at least 10 seconds, until the indicator resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2007-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SELECT/RESET knob repeatedly until the engine oil life is displayed.
Press the SELECT/RESET knob for about 10 seconds. The information display shows the reset mode initial display.
Select the ëëOIL LIFEíí indicator by turning the SELECT/RESET knob. The display begins to blink. Push the same knob to enter this setting.
The engine oil life and the maintenance item code(s) will begin to blink. Press the SELECT/ reset knob for another 5 seconds.
The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Reset service light indicator, engine oil life, dashboard oil life indicator Acura TSX, year: 2004-2005, instructions for manually resetting the trip computer:

Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button and turn ignition to (II) – do not start the engine.
Continue to hold the TRIP/RESET button for 10 seconds until light resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2006-2010
Turn the ignition to (II) – do not start the engine.
Press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until engine oil life is displayed.
Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for more than 10 seconds. The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi information display.
Select RESET by pressing the INFO (▲/▼) button, then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Year 2005
Turn ignition to position 2 (do not start engine).
Press the SELECT/RESET button until the oil life displays.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button for 10 seconds, until MAINTENANCE RESET displays.
Press the SELECT/RESET button to select OK to reset the display.
Select RESET on the display and press the SELECT/RESET button.
Turn ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
Years 2006-2010
Turn the ignition to position 2 (do not start the engine).
Press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until engine oil life is displayed.
Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for more than 10 seconds. The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi information display.
Select RESET by pressing the INFO (▲/▼) button, then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.
