Reset service light indicator, engine oil life Mercedes C-Class , year 2014, 2015 oil reset instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to position 1 (one position before starting the engine).
2. Press the system selection button (house icon located on the left of the steering wheel) repeatedly until the menu item TRIP is highlighted in the multi-function display. Within 5 seconds, press the OK button.
3. Press and hold phone button and then within 1 second press and hold down the OK button. Hold for 5 seconds then the workshop menu will be displayed “Vehicle data, Dynamometer Test, Change Brake Lining, ASSYST PLUS and Head-up Display”.
4. Press the DOWN arrow repeatedly until ASSYST PLUS is highlighted and confirm with the OK button.
5. Press the DOWN arrow to highlight FULL SERVICE and confirm with the OK button.
6. Press the DOWN arrow repeatedly until CONFIRM SERV is highlighted and confirm with the OK button.
7. Specifiy engine oil used with the UP arrow and confirm with the OK button.
8. Press the DOWN arrow repeatedly until YES is highlighted and confirm with the OK button.
9. Press the DOWN arrow repeatedly until CONFIRM is highlighted and confirm with the OK button. “Full service completed” appears in the multi-function display.
10. Press the BACK (curved left arrow) button repeatedly until the standard display (total distance) appears in the display.
11. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
