005-2008
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Ensure odometer reading is shown. Turn ignition off.
While holding down the trip meter reset knob turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Hold down knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates “000000″ and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2009-2010
1.Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2.Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown. Turn the ignition off.
3.While holding down the trip meter reset knob turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Without multi-information display
4. Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays “000000″.
With multi-information display
4. Continue to press and hold the button until ěMAINT REQD RESET MODE COMPLETE” appears on the multi-information display.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
These servicing warning lights are normally reset (turned off) by the main dealer once they have finished servicing your vehicle.
If you have just serviced your vehicle yourself, or had it serviced in a local garage you may find that the 'service interval warning light' still needs to be reset to turned the light off.
