Service oil reset maintenance Nissan Altima 2014-2015

How do you reset maintenance light, reset service light indicator Nissan Altima 2015, year 2014-2015. For reset maintenance light and that can be made manually by use button on car dashboard.

  1. Press the Start/Stop button (do not start the engine).
  2. Press the square button, located on the steering wheel to display the SETTINGS mode.
  3. Use the up/down arrow buttons to highlight SETTINGS and confirm with the ENTER button.
  4. From the SETTINGS menu select MAINTENANCE and confirm with the ENTER button.
  5. Select the maintenance item to be reset; reset distance and confirm with the ENTER button.
  6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2007

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
With the CHANGE OIL SOON message displayed, press either of the DIC buttons to clear the CHANGE OIL SOON message.
Display OIL LIFE RESET on the DIC using (square button).
Press and hold the ENTER (arrow button) button for at least 1 second. An ACKNOWLEDGED display message will appear for 3 seconds or until the next button is pressed. This will tell you the system has been reset.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2008-2009

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. If the message is not displayed, the system is reset. If the CHANGE OIL SOON message comes back on when you start the vehicle, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2006-2008
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
When you turn the ignition key run, the system start-up warning is displayed on the screen. Read the the warning and select the OK key by pressing the ENTER button.
When the TRIP button is pressed, the following modes will display on the screen: Warning message (if any) TRIP1 > TRIP 2 > FUEL ECONOMY > MAINTENANCE > AUDIO OR OFF > TRIP 1
Select MAINTENANCE and then select the Engine Oil key using the joystick and press the ENTER button to display the screen to change the maintenance interval/RESET.
To return to the previous display after the MAINTENANCE NOTICE screen is displayed, press the BACK button.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2009-2010
Turn the ignition to run (push START/STOP button once).
Press the (square) button, located on the instrument panel just behind the steering wheel to the left, to display the SETTINGS mode.
In the setting mode screen press (circle) button to move to MAINTENANCE.
Set a desired interval by pushing (circle) button to highlight ENGINE OIL and pressing (square) button The reset mode will open up and allow you to enter the desired distance.
Select RESET and select new time or distance.
Repeat step 3 for ENGINE OIL FILTER. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2006-2008
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Maintenance and tire pressure information will be displayed when the “MAINT” button is pushed on the centre console.
To display the setting of the maintenance interval, select the “Engine Oil” key using the joystick and push the “ENTER” button.
To reset the maintenance interval, select the “Reset” key using the joystick and push the “ENTER” button.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2009-2010
Turn the ignition to run (push START/STOP button once).
Switches for the trip computer are located on the right side of the combination meter panel. When the ignition switch is pushed to the ON position press the (square) button to bring up “Setting” and and press (circle) button to select.
Use the (circle) button to scroll to MAINTENANCE and use the (square) button to select.
Select ENGINE OIL to set or reset the distance for changing the oil.
Repeat step 2 to set or reset the distance for the OIL FILTER.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
